Add Box Around Selection
It's a Node Tool and therefore only compatible with Blender >= 4.0!
Features
- Adds a bounding box mesh around selected vertices in Edit Mode and joins the added geometry with the one you are currently editing
- Accessible via CTRL+V -> Add Box Around Selection or the menu header Vertex -> Add Box Around Selection
- The vertex selection can be adjusted in the Adjust Last Operation Panel where you can keep the selection on the added geometry or invert it back to your original mesh
- Super light-weight Node Tool (< 580 KB)
Installation
- Unzip the downloaded file and put the .blend file into one of your Asset Library paths. It will show up in your Asset Browser under Vertex with the name Add Box Around Selection and is immediately available in Edit Mode in each Blender File
- No need to drag and drop anything from the Asset Browser
Roadmap
