Clean Addons Blender Add-on Documentation

Overview

Clean Addons is a convenient Blender add-on developed by alexdepario. It allows users to manage their installed add-ons directly from a custom panel located in the Blender interface. With Clean Addons, users can easily enable or disable add-ons without the need to navigate through multiple menus.

Installation

1. Download the "clean_addons.zip" file containing the add-on.
2. Launch Blender.
3. Go to Edit > Preferences.
4. Click on the Add-ons tab.
5. Click the Install... button and navigate to the location of the downloaded zip file.
6. Select the zip file and click Install Add-on.
7. Enable the add-on by ticking the checkbox next to "Clean Addons" in the add-ons list.
8. Click Save Preferences to confirm the installation.

Usage

Accessing the Custom Panel

Once installed, the Clean Addons panel can be accessed from the header menu next to the Viewport shading options.

Enabling or Disabling Add-ons

1. Open the Clean Addons panel from the header menu.
2. You will see a list of installed add-ons with toggle buttons next to them.
3. To enable an add-on, simply click the toggle button next to its name. The add-on will be activated immediately.
4. To disable an add-on, click the toggle button again. The add-on will be deactivated.
5. The changes take effect immediately, allowing you to streamline your Blender workspace by enabling only the add-ons you need for your current task.
