Ae Track 2 Blend was developed to bridge the gap between Adobe After Effects and Blender.


 

Easy and Fast Integration of Tracking Keyframes from After Effects to Blender notice : this addon works on windows will be available for mac soon


 After Successfully Tracking in After Effects



- Step 1: Import Camera and Footage Information


- Copy Camera Position and Orientation Data

- Click Camera, which will add a camera to the scene with the exact camera rotation and location keyframes.

- Click Resolution and FPS, which will adjust the scene resolution and FPS to match the footage exactly.

- Click Start and End Frames to set the start and end frame to match the footage frames.



 Remember to retrieve the exact camera focal length from the camera settings in After Effects and input this value into the Blender camera settings for accurate results.


- Step 2: Import Solid Information


- Copy the Plane Transformation (Except Opacity)

- Click Plane to create a plane object with the same positioning and orientation as the solid plane in After Effects.

- Step 3: Scene Positioning


- Parent the tracking camera and planes to adjust their position, scale, and rotation as needed to properly align the scene.

- Use the Snap to 3D Cursor option to align the scene to the 3D cursor for precise placement.
